Promissory Note:
I, hereby acknowledge and promise to pay the amount budgeted until further notice. The first payment shall be made on the appointed date, with all subsequent instalments due on the same day each consecutive month/fortnight/week. These payments are to be made to professional payment systems Australia until further notice.
The payment cycles are based on a prorated length of time during the standard year (excluding Christmas Holidays) from January 13, 2024, to November 30, 2024. The payment cycle will span from January 13, 2024, to November 30, 2024.
In the case of a late payment, a $10 late payment fee will be assessed on any payment received 10 days past the due date. Additionally, additional charges will accrue at 30-day intervals. These charges are in addition to any dishonour fees imposed by the respective banks.
If you need to cancel or change any payments, you must give JSKR Australia 48 hours' notice. A $25 processing fee may apply, and this request should be submitted through JSKR Australia's email address: jskraustralia@gmail.com.
Please note that absenteeism and ignorance of class schedules do not hold JSKR Australia responsible.
After a one-month introductory period, the academy must receive 60 days' written notice to terminate this agreement. Fees will be payable during the 60-day cancellation period, but you may continue to train during this time.
I hereby confirm that I understand my rights as stated above and agree to abide by them. I acknowledge that fees and charges are based on a 40-week tuition year, commencing on January 13, 2024, and concluding on November 30, 2024.
Terms and Conditions for Registering Adults and Children into Martial Arts Club (JSKRA, Haedong Kumdo)
General Agreement:
By registering either an adult or a child into JSKRA (Haedong Kumdo), the participant and/or their legal guardian agrees to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
Health and Safety:
All participants must ensure that they are in good health and free from any medical conditions that may prevent them from participating in martial arts training. It is the responsibility of the participant or their legal guardian to disclose any relevant medical conditions or physical limitations to club instructors.
The club reserves the right to require a participant to provide a medical clearance certificate if deemed necessary for their safety and well-being.
Registration and Enrolment:
Registration for both adults and children can be completed online or in person at the club's designated registration desk.
The participant or their legal guardian must provide accurate personal information during the registration process. Any changes in contact details or other essential information must be promptly communicated to the club administration.
Enrolment is subject to availability, and JSKRA (Haedong Kumdo) reserves the right to decline or revoke registration at their discretion.
Code of Conduct:
All participants, whether adults or children, are expected to adhere to the highest standards of behaviour and respect.
Bullying, harassment, discrimination, or any form of disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour towards fellow participants, instructors, or staff members will not be tolerated.
Participants must follow instructions given by instructors and respect the rules and regulations of the club.
Any participant found in violation of the code of conduct may face disciplinary action, up to and including suspension or expulsion from JSKRA (Haedong Kumdo), as determined by the club administration.
Training Sessions:
Participants are expected to attend training sessions regularly and punctually. In the case of absence, prior notification to the club or instructor is appreciated.
Proper attire, such as appropriate uniforms and protective gear, must be worn during training sessions as prescribed by the club.
Participants must maintain personal hygiene, including clean uniforms and trimmed nails, for the comfort and safety of all participants.
Participants are responsible for the care and protection of their personal belongings. JSKRA (Haedong Kumdo) is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
Liability and Waiver:
Participation in martial arts training involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury. By registering, participants and/or their legal guardians acknowledge and accept these risks.
JSKRA (Haedong Kumdo), its instructors, staff, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during training sessions, events, or any related activities.
Participants and/or their legal guardians are responsible for their own health insurance coverage and any medical expenses that may arise from injuries sustained during participation in JSKRA (Haedong Kumdo) activities.
Photography and Media Consent:
JSKRA (Haedong Kumdo) reserves the right to capture and use photographs, videos, or any other media that includes participants for promotional or educational purposes.
b. By registering, participants and/or their legal guardians grant JSKRA (Haedong Kumdo) permission to use such media in various forms of communication, including but not limited to websites, social media, brochures, and newsletters.
Privacy Policy:
JSKRA (Haedong Kumdo) is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal information provided by participants. Personal information will only be used for club-related purposes and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
Participants and/or their legal guardians understand and consent to the collection, storage, and processing of their personal information as necessary for the administration and operation of JSKRA (Haedong Kumdo).
Amendments and Termination:
JSKRA (Haedong Kumdo) reserves the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Notice of any changes will be communicated to participants.
Either party, participants or JSKRA (Haedong Kumdo), may terminate the registration and participation agreement with written notice.
By registering, participants and/or their legal guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions set forth by JSKRA (Haedong Kumdo) for the registration and participation of adults and children in the martial arts club.

FEES & PENALTIES
If your electronic payment fails for any reason, you agree to reimburse Professional Payment Systems $10 to cover administrative costs associated with non-delivery of funds. You also understand that a $7.50 late fee is assessed on any payment received 10 days past due date. Additional late charges accrue at 30 days intervals. Your financial institution may charge an additional dishonour fee to you. If a refund is being provided to you, you authorize Professional Payment Systems to deduct a 10% fee of the refund amount or $10 (whichever is greater but not to exceed $25) to cover administrative costs to process the refund.
